Senior Clinical Fellow in Colorectal (2 Joint Positions Medway & GSTT, plus 2 standalone posts at GSTT)

Full Time - 40 hours per week
Fixed Term - 12 months starting 2nd October 2025
4 X 12 month posts (1 X 12 months St Thomas', 2 X St T/Medway, 2 x St T/ UCLH) Applications are invited for colorectal fellowships at St Thomas' Hospital, Medway Hospital and UCLH. There are four posts available, two spending six months at St Thomas' and six months at Medway (swapping at 6 months) and two spending six months at St Thomas' and six months at UCLH (swapping at 6 months).
Applications are invited for colorectal fellowships at St Thomas' Hospital, and jointly between GSTT and Medway Hospital. There are three posts available, two posts between GSTT and Medway; starting with six months at either St Thomas' or six months at Medway, swapping to the other trust at 6 months and one spending twelve months at St Thomas'.
The posts will commence from October 2025 for 12 months. Candidates should have completed their surgical training and have their CCT or equivalent, or be within approximately 6-12 months of obtaining for the CCT or equivalent.
The postholder will be a full member of the team, partaking in all ward rounds. You will be attached to different consultants for fixed periods to enable continuity between outpatient and inpatient experience. You are also encouraged to attend day surgery.
All working patterns are under continuous review in line with the New Deal regulations.
This post is for up to six months in the first instance, but if progress is satisfactory the post can be extended up to one year. There are three posts available, two posts between GSTT and Medway; starting with six months at either St Thomas or six months at Medway, swapping to the other trust at 6 months and one spending twelve months at St Thomas.
