The Public Health Midwife position at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in St Leonards is a leadership role focused on providing evidence-based education and support to women, families, and healthcare professionals. The midwife will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and local stakeholders to enhance health outcomes, particularly among disadvantaged families, by addressing modifiable risk factors such as obesity and smoking, while also promoting immunisation uptake.

The role involves acting as a care coordinator for women with complex health needs and requires the ability to influence local and national public health initiatives. The post holder will engage with the Senior Clinical Midwifery Management Team to develop pathways and guidelines that ensure high-quality, responsive care tailored to the needs of pregnant women and their families.
