Main duties and responsibilities include: Ensuring all areas of the hospice are clean and hygienic, including patient rooms, clinical spaces, and public areas. Carrying out deep cleans following patient discharge and maintaining hygiene standards throughout. Restocking supplies like hand towels, soap, and toilet rolls. Supporting your colleagues with tasks like bed-making, curtain washing, and floor care. Following all safety guidelines and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for patients and visitors. Engaging respectfully with patients and visitors, offering support when needed.
Ashgate Hospice, based in North Derbyshire, offers free palliative and end of life care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses, including cancer, neurological diseases, and advanced heart, kidney, and lung conditions.
