The therapist will be responsible for assessing, advising, and treating a designated caseload, while collaborating with families, school staff, and other professionals to support the children's social, emotional, and daily living skills. The position requires autonomy and accountability in practice, contributing to the development of the occupational therapy service within the special schools.
Paediatric Occupational Therapist- Band 6Term-time only-30 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work at Perseid Special Schools.
The post holder will provide a specialist occupational therapy service for children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties in Perseid special schools, in accordance with the Service Level Agreement for Sutton Health and Care Alliance.
They will contribute to the development of the special schools occupational therapy service for children and young people. They will plan and provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, advice and treatment to a defined caseload of children and young people with severe and complex needs.
