The Learning and Development Facilitator at Avery Healthcare in Guildford and surrounding areas will lead the delivery of quality-assured training within their care homes to enhance team performance and ensure compliance. The successful candidate will ensure that the organisation has a competent and compliant team to deliver exceptional care to their residents.

As the Learning and Development Facilitator, your responsibilities will include leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics, identifying learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS), planning and designing engaging learning courses and content, facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses both face-to-face and virtually, and accurately recording training sessions in the LMS. You will also be responsible for assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout the training.

Leading training sessions for a cluster of homes, focusing on statutory and mandatory topics

Identifying learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS)

Planning and designing engaging learning courses and content.

Facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, both face-to-face and virtually, accurately recording training sessions in the LMS.

Assessing learner knowledge, confidence, and understanding throughout training.

Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector.

Experience in adult social care and related qualifications.

Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements.

Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it).

Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care (or similar).

A UK driving licence and own transport.
