The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Community Maternity Support Worker for a 1-year fixed term role. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and access to a car. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care within the Duchess of Kent Maternity Unit, which handles approximately 4,200 births annually.

Key responsibilities include supporting registered midwives in providing maternity care, communicating effectively with women and birthing persons, documenting care in the Trust's electronic system, promoting breastfeeding, and performing tasks like phlebotomy and basic wound care after receiving appropriate training. Candidates should be prepared to work in community settings and have flexible availability for day and night shifts.
