The role involves providing exceptional care to babies and their families, supporting senior nursing staff in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of pediatric care throughout the patient's journey, from admission to discharge or transfer.

The Neonatal Unit at Frimley Park Hospital is a Local Neonatal Unit made up of 2 Intensive Care, 3 High Dependency and 11 Special Care cots. The unit cares for babies over 26+6 weeks gestation and stabilises any baby under that gestation, to be transferred to a tertiary hospital/ NICU.
We are in a position to be able to support an experienced neonatal nurse to undertake the QIS course in 2024.
