Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint experienced Anaesthesia and Critical Care doctors to a comprehensive Cardiac Fellowship programme across both the Wythenshawe Hospital and Oxford Road sites. This role would ideally suit a candidate someone with a sub-specialised interest in cardiothoracics, or seeking to submit their CESR application within 18 months.
Due to the short-term nature of the role, the successful candidate must hold a current registration with the GMC at the time of application, whether it be an active licence, ceased licence or a pending application -
MFT cannot support GMC Sponsorship for vacancies less than 12 months fixed term. Candidates who do not fit this criteria will not progress through to the shortlisting stage.
Please note: MFT is not a right to work sponsoring organisation for Tier 5. Should a candidate require Tier 5 sponsorship, they must apply through the Academy of Royal College via the MTI Scheme.
Please note: since April 2021, the Trust moved to a locally agreed contract for all locally employed doctors, that mirrors the terms and conditions of service for doctors in training (2contract). This means the grade for the position has a static salary and no prior experience will be considered.
