St Luke's Hospice in Basildon is seeking two Clinical Nurse Specialists for a 9-month maternity cover, with one full-time and one part-time (22.5 hours per week) position available. The successful candidates will work within the hospice community services team to deliver patient-centered care and ensure high-quality support for patients, their families, and carers. Responsibilities include providing expert advice on specific health conditions, prescribing medication, conducting assessments and diagnostics, and participating in research to enhance patient care.

In addition to direct patient care, the Clinical Nurse Specialists will educate other healthcare professionals and implement improvements in care practices to elevate health outcomes. This role is integral to advancing the hospice's mission of providing compassionate support while improving the overall quality of life for patients.
