King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for the position of Senior Clinical Fellow in its Critical Care department, which encompasses both the Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital sites. The role offers the opportunity to work within a large tertiary critical care environment, guided by consultants with various sub-specialties such as major trauma, neurology, cardiology, and haematology. Key responsibilities include conducting daily reviews of ICU patients, presenting findings during multidisciplinary team ward rounds, and supporting clinical decisions made by junior medical and nursing staff. The fellow will also be involved in managing critically ill patients outside of the ICU, initiating advanced interventions, and facilitating patient transfers.

Additionally, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the development of the critical care team, including mentoring undergraduates, participating in clinical governance, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. The position not only emphasises clinical responsibilities but also the importance of personal and professional growth through goal setting and collaboration within the team.
