An exciting new opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist has arisen to contribute to the development of the organic inpatient ward, Castleside, at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality.
The post holder would work within the safer staffing numbers within shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. As part of the role, there will be an opportunity to develop skills in supporting with ward tasks such as co-ordinating shifts and holding a caseload as a key worker.
You would be responsible for the assessment and management of a caseload of patients who have substantial and complex needs from admission to discharge. You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, patients, carers and family members to develop high quality patient-centred formulations, care plans and treatment plans and deliver evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions.
The post holder will work closely with the Specialist Occupational Therapist based on the ward and receive regular clinical supervision and operationally managed by the Ward Manager.
This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified Band 5 Occupational Therapist or a Band 5 looking to broaden their experience.
