This is an exciting opportunity to join a Social Work service that provides assessment, support and interventions for children, young people and their families. We offer training and development opportunities alongside flexible working and manageable caseloads.

To manage a team of social workers for children with disabilities in an efficient and effective manner in order to: protect and safeguard children; improve outcomes for those children and families who are in receipt of the services provided; provide integrated, effective and responsive support services.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager for the Children with Disabilities Service. This role involves managing a small team of Social Workers delivering assessment, support, community outreach, and respite services to children, young people, and families with complex needs. As Team Manager, you'll ensure manageable caseloads, support team performance, and provide regular reflective supervision. You will:

• Lead, supervise, and support your team
• Allocate work effectively, following policy and best practice
• Drive service improvement and performance
• Monitor team performance using data to ensure high standards and outcomes
