It is essential to have an understanding of the challenges that face nurses caring for young people with mental health difficulties today and be able to demonstrate resilience and empathy. You will have the opportunity to continue enhancing your existing skills and become a specialist in CAMHS through our excellent learning and development opportunities which will include both leadership and managerial skills but also clinical interventions.
We are interested in recruiting nurses who are keen to work within CAMHS services and are not solely looking for candidates with prior CAMHs experience but who possess sound clinical skills and who demonstrate an interest of developing their career within CAMHS.
We actively encourage professional development and support our staff to take on additional training and academic qualification. Depending of relevance to the service there is the possibility of training or education being paid or by the organization.
