An exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable and enthusiastic individual to join our service as a Team Secretary for the Countywide Complex Emotional Difficulties Team.
As well as having effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, it is essential that the applicant is able to prioritise work, handle difficult situations and have a flexible approach to working as part of a team. You should be able to integrate well with the existing team, be flexible in supporting the functions of the team and have a genuine desire to contribute to providing a quality service for patients.
The post holder should also demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, patients, carers, the general members of the public and representatives from other hospital and organisations.
Our main Administration team is based at Truro Health Park, there will be a need to travel across the county to attend Team Days, and to support the team in the integrated care authority areas across Cornwall. This role will be office based.
Proposed interview date: TBC
To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Complex Emotional Difficulties Team (with occasional cross cover for Adult Eating Disorders and the Community Mental Health teams), ensuring that all requests either typing or administrative are promptly met. To ensure effective lines of communication between team members, patients and others, whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
