We are seeking to appoint dynamic and enthusiastic candidates to the role of Deputy Ward Manager - T2 Rainbow Ward with 2x positions available. One role is offered at full time, 37.5 hours per week, with the second role offered part time at 30 hours per week.

The role will require the candidate to be able to make leadership decisions autonomously and as a part of the wider nursing leadership team, providing a standard of holistic family centered care to all children and their families.
The successful candidate will require the ability to foster and promote family centre care and establish good relationships with all patients, and their parents/carers, and provide care in a timely manner across the service. They are required to exhibit excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with all staffing disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of patient care.
The post holder will be responsible to take ownership of the service in the absence of the Ward Manager, managing and supporting all junior staffing to utilise and maintain standards of care through the correct undertaking of policies and procedures, and must be flexible in their approach to the clinical areas and provide cover as needed for any specified areas.
