The position of "Assessment and Engagement Worker" in Leek with Inclusion is a full-time, permanent role focused on empowering service users to improve their quality of life through recovery-oriented interventions. Key responsibilities include working closely with service users and a multi-disciplinary team, facilitating harm reduction initiatives, and managing the reception area to ensure effective interventions. The worker will support service users in overcoming obstacles to attendance, supervise recovery supporter volunteers, and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the role involves managing complex behaviors, signposting to local services, and fostering community connections while adhering to evidence-based practices and current policies.
