We are based on the Herts & Essex border, and we are easily accessible from London and the Home Counties. The hospital opened in 1992 and is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment and has very high quality clinical standards. Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload. Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities. Take an active part to supervise and develop junior colleagues. Responsible for MRI safety in line with local rules. To work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC. Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme. Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers. Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and, can report faults in line with Ramsay Health policy. Competency in IV cannulation is essential. Provide input to the review, update and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes. Comply with all Ramsay Health policies and procedures. Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements. Participation in General x-ray. Participate in on call CT rota (must be able to attend site within one hour of call activation).
