The role of Senior Lead Pharmacist - MRC Medicines Information Lead at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust involves overseeing the Medicines Information Service within the Medicines Resource Centre in High Wycombe. The candidate will manage inquiries from both primary and secondary care staff, as well as patients, through a dedicated helpline. Key responsibilities include collaborating with governance and formulary teams, training staff, managing patient group directives (PGDs), and ensuring operational coverage while leading and managing the Medicines Information team.

This position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively handle the coordination of medicines information queries and contribute to the overall safety and effectiveness of medication use within the integrated care system in Buckinghamshire.

Would you like to be part of a dynamic team leading our Medicines Information Service within the Medicines Resource Centre (MRC) at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust?

You would be the lead for our queries from across the integrated care system particularly Buckinghamshire, including both primary care and secondary care staff and patients via our dedicated patient helpline. Our Medicines information team work closely with our governance, medicines safety and formulary teams as part of the Medicines Resource Centre.

Medicines information, formulary and patient helpline queries, training staff, leading on patient group directives (PGDs), ward commitment and operational cover, management of staff and service.
