Part-time 28.75 hrs pw -10shifts per month long day &weekend shifts. The Urgent Care is open 8am-8pm,7 days a week.

We are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse to work within our Urgent Care Centre at The Portland Hospital for Women & Children currently rated Good by the CQC.
Take charge of the shift and manage patient flow safely and efficiently.
Engage with families over telephone using excellent communication skills.
To act as an advocate for the child and family, ensuring the provision ofappropriate informationand support services.
Communicate effectively promoting open and trusting relationships.
Navigatepatientcare working alongside the multidisciplinary team & other services in HCA, to provide the best care for the patient.
To liaise with multidisciplinary teams to safeguard children & families.
To take part in clinical audits andassistin the development and review of policies.
As a Paediatric Senior Staff Nurse working within Urgent Care Centre, you will provide autonomous clinical leadership and organisation to ensure the provision of high-quality care to children and families.
