The "Specialist Stroke Occupational Therapist Team Lead" at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Bodmin is responsible for leading the Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) to provide specialized assessment and treatment for adults with stroke across Cornwall. This role requires the Team Lead to ensure that all stroke patients with rehabilitation needs receive expert care and support the Consultant Practitioner for Stroke and the ICSS Manager. The Team Lead will manage the Locality Team, serve as a clinical role model, and provide leadership in supervision, training, and clinical governance while driving service development.

The position is community-based and entails utilizing advanced clinical reasoning to devise and implement tailored Occupational Therapy treatment programs in collaboration with patients and caregivers. Applicants need to possess access to a vehicle for work purposes, as some locations may not be accessible by public transport. This is a fixed-term role lasting 12 months.
