The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Nurse for its Neuroscience Research Centre (NRC) in Liverpool to manage and deliver a range of neurosurgery-related clinical studies. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and specialist nurses, to ensure high-quality patient care and research delivery. Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical aspects of studies, obtaining informed consent, maintaining accurate research data, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Additionally, the Research Nurse will play a vital role in training clinical teams, promoting clinical trials, and maintaining patient safety throughout the research process. Strong patient communication skills are essential for recruiting participants and addressing their queries, while also managing data and addressing any incidents according to local protocols. The role requires self-management of workloads, adherence to Trust policies, and continuing professional development to uphold high standards of care in clinical research.
