The role requires a specialist in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery, along with broad general ophthalmology experience. Key responsibilities include delivering specialist oculoplastic services, managing general ophthalmology duties including on-call responsibilities, and collaborating with a multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines. The post holder will also provide leadership support to junior medical staff and maintain strong working relationships with tertiary centres and community services.
