University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking Paediatric Staff Nurses for the Dolphin Ward, a specialized cardiac unit caring for patients aged 0 to 18 years. The ward features 16 beds, including 5 in a high dependency unit, and offers a robust cardiac education program aimed at enhancing nurses' skills and knowledge in caring for children with coronary heart disease. Located within the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children – a key provider of services in the region and one of the UK's specialist Paediatric Major Trauma Centres – the Dolphin Ward promises a fulfilling work-life balance in a vibrant city renowned for its culture and community. The position is available for children's nurses who have completed their preceptorship, although it is not suitable for internationally educated nurses who need to complete the OSCE to register with the NMC in the UK.
