The Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized Medical Support Secretary to join the Cardiology Service at the Royal Bolton Hospital, working 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical secretarial role, demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage a demanding workload with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include clinical typing, coordination of patient case notes and test results, providing secretarial support for clinics and meetings, and responding to telephone queries.

Candidates must possess advanced keyboard and word processing skills, along with GCSEs in English Language and Maths at grade C or above. Familiarity with audio typing and knowledge of NHS operations are desirable. Applicants will be required to complete a typing test during the interview process. The role emphasises a commitment to delivering quality service to patients and the ability to integrate effectively into the team.
