The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a motivated and hardworking Ward Clerk for the Children's Unit, which includes 33 inpatient beds and a pediatric assessment area. The role involves rotating across different areas of the unit, providing cover for colleagues, and working autonomously while prioritizing tasks. Candidates should possess strong communication and organisational skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the multi-disciplinary team, both in person and via phone.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients and relatives, answering inquiries, maintaining accurate health records, managing the admissions process, and supporting nursing staff in patient discharges. The successful applicant will work Monday to Friday for a total of 37.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with a small team to deliver a responsive, customer-focused service.
