The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Physician specializing in Stroke Medicine to join their team at the Eastbourne District General Hospital. The role involves managing acute stroke patients in a consolidated Stroke service and providing comprehensive care across various settings, including TIA clinics and inpatient care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, participate in emergency thrombolysis procedures, and coordinate patient transfers for thrombectomy.

Applicants should be proficient in Stroke care, hold full GMC registration, and be within six months of obtaining CCT or on the Specialist Register. The position includes a flexible job plan tailored to the candidate's strengths, with opportunities for service development and leadership in patient care planning. The on-call responsibilities incorporate a 1:4 weekend schedule and 1:6 thrombolysis calls, alongside routine outpatient and inpatient reviews.
