Cygnet Health Care is seeking a dedicated Activity Coordinator to work 40 hours per week at Cygnet The Fields, a specialist residential service in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, focused on supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role involves developing, planning, and implementing engaging activities, outings, and events to enhance the lives of residents while providing necessary physical and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee activities and events for residents.
  • Ensure adequate staff, resources, and materials for activities.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to colleagues.
  • Create promotional materials for events.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in event planning and working with challenging behaviors.
  • Knowledge of activities suited for mental health service users.
