INTENSIVE CARE UNIT MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS
The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time 8a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for their Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Hull. This role involves enhancing the psychology team's provision across the acute care pathway, focusing on the recovery journey of service users from initial contact through assessment and intervention. The psychologist will engage in direct clinical work within the PICU, offering assessments of need and risk, formulation, and interventions, while also providing essential staff support through reflective practice groups, training, and consultation.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed care and ensure effective transitions between community and inpatient settings. Additionally, the psychologist will assist the Principal Psychologist in developing psychological provision pathways, aiming to improve the overall service user experience throughout their care journey.
