The Macmillan Clinical Nurse Specialist in Supportive & Palliative Care will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary Manchester Macmillan Supportive and Palliative Care Service. The role involves providing high-quality palliative care aligned with the needs of patients and their families, focusing on enhancing quality of life, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, and meeting patients' care preferences. The specialist will collaborate with a diverse team, including medics, therapists, and nursing staff, to address the complex physical, psychological, and emotional challenges faced by patients with life-limiting conditions.
