The role of Education & Simulation Fellow in Intensive Care Medicine at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a one-year fixed-term position designed for trainees aiming to enhance their skills in medical education and simulation. Located in East London, Homerton University Hospital is a recognized teaching hospital with an "Outstanding" rating from the Care Quality Commission. The fellowship involves supporting the development of medical students, nursing staff, and allied health professionals through teaching and training, particularly focusing on simulation-based education.

Fellows will engage in a diverse range of educational activities, participate in high-quality teaching, and may have the opportunity to pursue a fully funded Postgraduate Certificate through an apprenticeship scheme. By the end of the fellowship, participants are expected to meet several learning objectives, including gaining experience in teaching methods, participating in simulations, and completing required training in medical education as per the Royal College of Anaesthetists' syllabus.
