We're the Improvement Cymru Academy, part of the new Quality, Safety and Improvement directorate of the NHS Wales Executive.
The Improvement Cymru Academy draws upon local and international learning, bringing new complimentary models of improvement approaches to NHS Wales, as well as integrating offers from partner bodies within Wales. This brings a wider and deeper lens to improvement science, incorporating patient safety, human factors and Lean methodology, all with a focus on quality and based on a co-productive approach.
The post will focus on supporting the creation of improvement learning and support, building upon the solid foundations already established.
You'll be a member of the Improvement Cymru Academy team and will through the delivery of high-quality Improvement training and the provision of bespoke support enable improvement in the quality and safety of care across NHS Wales.

Whatever your professional background we wish to hear from you if you're an innovative and passionate trainer with experience and skills in quality improvement and possess excellent communication skills.
We value diversity, inclusivity, flexibility, and a willingness to work together. If you are curious about developing others through the delivery of high-quality training, enjoy working with people and trying to get the best from them, able to think creatively and wish to work within a dynamic team from differing professional backgrounds, then we would love to see your application.
