The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Peer Employment Specialist in Harrow, who possesses personal lived experience of recovery from mental health challenges and has accessed secondary mental health services. This role is designed for individuals passionate about using their recovery journey to inspire and support others facing similar issues, guiding them towards meaningful employment. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of clients, providing tailored support, mentoring, and facilitating peer support sessions while actively building relationships with employers to secure job opportunities and assist with job retention.

Successful applicants will leverage their experiences to demonstrate the feasibility of sustainable employment while promoting a recovery-oriented approach within the community. Additionally, the role involves delivering employment workshops, collaborating with clinical teams for referrals, and maintaining professional standards.
