The District Nurse Team Manager is responsible for the operational management of the locality-based District Nurse Team.

The role entails 24/7 responsibility, 365 days a year, for the District Nursing Team, supported by Band 6 nurses.

The manager provides leadership in service development and redesign, profiling local health needs within the locality, and identifying or addressing resource needs.

Active involvement in the strategic planning of health and community-based services, with responsibilities including deputizing for and supporting the Locality/Deputy Manager and Professional Leads.
