The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 3 Pharmacy Support Worker for the Patient Services team at Barnet Hospital. This role involves supervising pharmacy support workers and apprentices, and training staff in areas such as general dispensing, stock receipt, and stock control. Candidates should have a Level 2 Pharmacy Service Assistant qualification or be willing to undertake apprenticeship training. The post holder will serve as a liaison between patients and pharmacy staff, assisting with reception duties, managing prescriptions, and ensuring patient confidentiality while contributing to a high-quality service in line with the Trust’s values.

Successful applicants will either be appointed directly into a Band 3 position or begin in a Band 3 annex 21 role while completing their apprenticeship. Alongside practical training, apprentices will participate in classroom-based learning. The role emphasises accurate and effective service delivery with a focus on respectful, compassionate patient care, aligning with the Trust's commitment to high standards in healthcare.
