Band Consultant: £106,000 to £154,760 a year Per Annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Consultant Cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in imaging to join a team of six at Wrexham Maelor District General Hospital. This position aims to bolster existing cardiovascular imaging and heart failure services and may accommodate other subspecialty interests. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, overseeing non-invasive cardiology, and contributing to the management and development of local and regional cardiac initiatives. Additionally, the appointee will engage in teaching, clinical audits, and research activities while adhering to Health Board policies.

Candidates must be on the Specialist Register, possess a CCT or an equivalent qualification, or be within six months of obtaining it at the time of interview. The role is aligned with the national Consultant Contract in Wales, offering a salary range of £106,000 to £154,760 per annum based on a 10-session commitment.
