The Training Programme Directors will collaborate with the Head of School to develop physicians committed to high standards of patient-centered care and ongoing professional development. NHS England are looking to recruit two Cardiology Training Programme Directors for the School of Medicine.
As Training Programme Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the training across the region. You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC and NHS-E WT&E are implemented locally. Applicants must be currently working within the East Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent including SAS doctors in the specialty school area. Experience within the specialty at consultant or SAS doctor level is essential as is considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.

NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route youll usually need to be paid the standard salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the going rate for your job, whichever is higher.
