This role is for a qualified Chef to work in a care home setting, providing high-quality, nutritious meals for residents. The Second Chef will assist the Head Chef in menu development and deliver a warm, efficient and welcoming environment in the kitchen. The successful candidate will have a personable approach, good understanding of nutrition, and experience working with fresh, seasonal produce.

As a Second Chef at Barchester Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a care home environment, delivering hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus while working closely with residents to tailor the offerings to their preferences.
