University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Band 6 Dietitian position within the acute adult team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The role involves providing dietetic care to inpatients requiring enhanced respiratory support, such as NIV, CPAP, and HFNO, with a focus on administering oral and enteral nutrition. Candidates should ideally have experience in managing respiratory patients or a desire to specialize in this area. The position requires collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, involvement in board rounds, and the ability to manage complex patient assessments and treatments.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the successful applicant will be engaged in developing and delivering training for dietetic staff and healthcare professionals and leading service development projects within the respiratory wards. The post is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with the possibility for part-time or job share arrangements.
