The Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the role of Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician in Walsall. This position involves working closely with patients and healthcare professionals as part of a pharmacy and multidisciplinary team. The role includes a two-year training program leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Technicians, with a combination of college and in-house training.

Trainees will rotate through different areas, including dispensary, pharmacy procurement, and distribution, gaining competencies in various settings such as hospital wards. Responsibilities will include medicine reconciliation, assessing patient medications, and eventually checking the work of others. Those interested should meet the entry qualifications and be prepared for both on-the-job and home study.
