The Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance, in collaboration with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to enhance early cancer diagnosis and improve services across the region. This full-time role involves overseeing and evaluating the GM Cancer Alliance Innovation Programme, managing projects that focus on innovation in cancer care, and fostering partnerships among various healthcare organisations, community groups, and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for advancing cancer services.

Key responsibilities include establishing governance frameworks, collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making, and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying funding opportunities, managing project portfolios, and leading discussions on innovation adoption. This role, which is contractual until March 2026, offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to significantly contribute to improving cancer care in Greater Manchester. Flexible working arrangements may be considered, and secondment requests are welcome.
