We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy team at at HMP YOI Doncaster, a Category B male adult prison and YOI based in Marshgate, with operational capacity of 1145.
This is a fantastic opportunity start or continue your career in Pharmacy and Healthcare - no previous experience is necessary, and we will support you with lots of training and development opportunities, as well as progression to Pharmacy Assistant and onwards!

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As our new Pharmacy Support Worker, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide high quality support to the supply, preparation and assembly of medicines under the direction of the responsible Pharmacist
- Support the onsite Pharmacy Technicians
- Contribute to services such as medicine reconciliation, managing stock medicines and transportation of medicines
- Provide support to ensure a safe and secure medicines management service, following policies, procedures and standard operating procedures
- Work in the medication hatches on the wings, as well as within the onsite Pharmacy
- Be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals
