Band 8b: £70,387 to £80,465 a year per annum inc HCA's  PERMANENT 
The People Business Partner will support the leadership of specific Care Groups and corporate departments by taking a lead on all workforce related matters for these areas.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the People Business Partnering Team. You will join a diverse team of People Business Partners providing professional advice, guidance and proactive HR support to managers and leaders across the organisation.

Looking after your own portfolio of staff and working closely with the Care Group Triumvirate, you will ensure you deliver the best customer service whilst ensuring the delivery of our People and Culture plan and all other people strategies to support the business goals. You'll ensure that workforce plans are consistent with the People Directorate priorities and that financial, activity and People metrics are aligned.

The ideal candidate is customer focussed, able to work at pace, be innovative in their approach and have the ability to build strong working relationships not only with stakeholders from their Care Groups but also across the wider People Directorate.

The role will be predominantly based at our Denmark Hill site with an attendance required at one of our South Sites one day per week with the option for hybrid working also.


Main Duties of the Job

The People Business Partner will support the leadership of specific Care Groups and corporate departments by taking a lead on all workforce related matters for these areas. Working autonomously and closely with the managers to ensure they are equipped with the right knowledge and guidance to handle all People related issues and challenges.

Working closely with the Workforce Analyst, you'll develop workforce plans aligned to the business needs of the Trust and ensure this is reviewed not just throughout the workforce planning cycle but all year.

You'll provide first line advice to managers with regards to policy, process and employee relations. Ensuring you work closely with the Employee Relations Advisors to provide excellent and robust HR advice.

You'll actively support the achievement of Trust goals with a particular focus on People metrics as well as supporting improvement in the Trust's financial position.

Using People data and insights to inform decision making as well as using an evidence based approach is pivotal to ensure you support managers to make the right decisions.

A big part of the role is build strong working relationships with many key stakeholders, including Finance, Employee Relations, Recruitment and the Site Executive team as well as liaise with our central workforce team to ensure the needs of the services are met.
