The Emergency Department Progress Chaser at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is a Band 3 maternity cover position responsible for enhancing patient flow within the Emergency Department. Working closely with the Nurse in Charge, the role involves coordinating and chasing up medical investigations, as well as liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely discharges and transfers. The position requires full-time commitment to three 12-hour shifts per week, with responsibilities including maintaining a daily log of actions for 4-hour breach analysis to report to the line manager.
