Wiltshire Health and Care LLP is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a permanent, full-time position within their Intensive Rehabilitation Service in Salisbury. The role focuses on supporting patients recovering from hospital admissions in a multidisciplinary environment. The therapist will collaborate with various professionals, including physiotherapists and social workers, to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, facilitating their transition back home or to another care setting.

As a Band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will receive support from senior team members and community therapists, contributing to an integrated and patient-centered approach in collaboration with local services. Occupational Therapist - Band 5

Intensive Rehabilitation Service - Salisbury Area

37.5 Hours per week - Permanent

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our Intensive Rehabilitation Service supporting Pathway 2 discharges in the South of Wiltshire based in Salisbury area. This service is based within inpatient bed based rehabilitation setting to provide patients an opportunity for focused rehabilitation after a hospital admission to enable patients to work towards their goals.

You will work with a multidisciplinary approach, alongside physiotherapists, assistant practitioners, rehabilitation support workers, care staff and social workers to ensure the patients are supported to work towards their goals, in aim of returning home or into another setting.

As a band 5 Occupational Therapist, you will be supported by senior therapists within the team along with community therapists within the organisation.
