The role of Developing Band 5/6 Adult Community Speech & Language Therapist with Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust involves providing therapy to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in various community settings throughout Berkshire. Applicants can be newly qualified or have some experience, and will benefit from comprehensive support during their transition to an autonomous practitioner, including a Preceptorship programme for newly qualified staff. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of adults with acquired disorders, providing advice to caregivers, engaging in team meetings, and utilizing RIO patient records, while being supervised by experienced senior staff.

This position offers diverse opportunities to work across multiple sites and requires flexibility to meet service needs. New therapists will receive training, including dysphagia and LSVT methods, as part of their professional development.
