An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-to-12-month secondment at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in the role of Associate Director of Learning and Organisational Development. Reporting to the Deputy CPO, the successful candidate will have a proven track-record in organisational development at a senior level in a large organisation.
They will also have senior leadership experience of overseeing learning and development on an organisation-wide scale to ensure provision of highly effective services that exceed the needs of customers, are innovative, and which operate in accordance with statutory requirements, best practice, NHS and Trust policies and procedures.
You will join Team Kings at an exciting time as we look to continue the delivery of our People and Culture Plan alongside projects on talent management, leadership development and staff survey.
1.
Strategic Leadership:
Act as a key member of the Senior People Team, providing strategic leadership to the People Directorate and actively contribute to the development and delivery of the People and Culture Plan.
Develop and implement a comprehensive Learning and Organisational Development strategy aligned with the NHS's overarching goals.
Provide visionary leadership to drive continuous improvement in employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
2.
Leadership and Talent Development
Identify and nurture compassionate and inclusive leadership and talent within the organization through targeted development programs.
Collaborate with HR to implement succession planning and talent retention strategies.
3.
Management Development:
Design and deliver comprehensive manager induction programmes for all newly appointed managers to ensure they are compassionate, inclusive and effective managers of people.
Ensure all managers are supported and developed to become compassionate, inclusive and effective managers of people.
