The Associate Director of Learning and Organisational Development position at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust involves a 6-to-12-month secondment, reporting to the Deputy Chief People Officer. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in organisational development and senior leadership, with a focus on enhancing learning and development across the organisation to meet statutory and best practice standards. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership within the Senior People Team, developing a comprehensive Learning and Organisational Development strategy, and driving initiatives related to talent management and employee performance improvement.

Additionally, the role emphasises leadership and talent development, including the creation of targeted programs for nurturing compassionate leadership and succession planning, as well as the design of induction programmes for new managers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning development initiatives with the NHS's overarching objectives and ensuring effective people services within the Trust during a time of cultural transformation.
