The Heron Medical Practice in Herne Bay is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join their dedicated nursing team. The successful candidate will work alongside five Ophthalmologists, providing critical support in the assessment of patients during weekday general Ophthalmology Clinics. Key responsibilities include conducting various diagnostic tests such as Visual Acuity assessment, Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT), Visual Field Assessment, measuring Intra-Ocular pressure, administering eye drops, and recording patient medical histories and medications.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a skilled and supportive team, contributing to the quality of patient care within the Herne Bay Ophthalmology Services, located at Beltinge and Reculver Surgery. The technician will play a vital role in the patient evaluation process before consultation with an Ophthalmologist, ensuring efficient and thorough assessments that facilitate effective treatment planning.
