The "Fellow in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery" position at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust offers an opportunity to work in a leading unit specializing in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery at a senior trainee level. Candidates must have full GMC registration, FRCS qualifications, and a solid foundation in breast surgical oncology or reconstruction, as well as experience in micro-surgery. The role is primarily a 40-hour-per-week position with no on-call obligations, providing hands-on experience in operating theatres, reconstruction clinics, MDT meetings, and patient care.

Fellows will initially receive supervision while attending new patient referral clinics and participating in various clinical settings, including case presentations and peri-operative care. The role includes a flexible job plan that allows for a diverse range of breast procedures, with opportunities for independent practice as competencies are developed. Additionally, fellows may attend specialized clinics related to genetics and screening assessments, enhancing their training and experience in the field of breast surgery.
