We seek someone with proven aseptic skills & experience dispensing clinical trial medications. In return, we offer a rewarding career pathway with the opportunity to undertake a Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Apprenticeship (Level 3 Diploma in the Principles of Aseptic Pharmaceuticals Processing).
Our unit prepares a range of sterile medicinal products, including clinical trial medications, chemotherapy & total parenteral nutrition. To perform a range of organisational, supervisory and dispensing functions in order to provide efficient and quality clinical technical services to wards and clinics within the Trust, with a particular focus on clinical trial activities.
Duties will be predominantly concerned with the organisation and direct supervision of clean room staff and activities; including assembly, preparation and dispensing of sterile and often complex clinical trial products, including cytotoxics.
Stock control, clerical duties and supportive clinical trials activities are also assigned to this post.
