The Brain Injury Support Worker will be responsible for delivering personalized care and support to our client with complex health conditions, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, and providing emotional support and companionship. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the client's comfort, safety, and well-being.

About us

  We have a fantastic opportunity for a female dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant Support Worker to join our team in Doncaster. In this role, you will be working flexible hours (10 hours a week) to assist our client into the community and in daily living by providing high-quality care and support, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Our client is very social and likes to go out to concerts, cinema, dinners etc.

    Working Hours:

    10 hours a week. Rota will be done on monthly basis, but hours/days are flexible depending on client's needs.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivering personalised care and support to our client with complex health conditions.
    • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
    • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
    • Providing emotional support and companionship.
    • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.


    Requirements:

    • Experience in a similar role, preferably in learning disabilities and epilepsy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Energetic, upbeat and empathetic nature.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
    • Valid UK driver's license
